CleanEarth completed the rooftop Solar PV installation at Airberg’s £1million state-of-the-art freezer and chiller facility which supports their objective of operating in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
Airberg’s logistics system ensures frozen, chilled and ambient food is delivered to far-flung corners of the globe by road, sea and air.
The £1million state of the art warehouse, situated in Crowborough, East Sussex, provide 350 pallet spaces of frozen capacity and enable multi-language labelling and temperature-sensitive packaging. The Solar PV installation enhances the modernity of the operation.
As a trusted name in the global export of British food, Airberg take their responsibilities seriously and this extends in to operating in an environmentally responsible manner.
The Solar PV installation will deliver 388 Tonnes of carbon savings over 25 years and help reduce Airberg’s running costs through the use of FREE solar electricity.
