CleanEarth provide full Operation & Maintenance (O&M) at a number of large scale solar farms and over 90 rooftop installations.

Everything is done by our in-house O&M team who are highly experienced and care passionately for our clients’ assets, ensuring they operate safely and effectively to deliver maximum financial returns.

Our O&M service can be tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients and we are happy to manage assets installed by another EPC installer following an initial inspection.

In addition to Solar PV, we manage our portfolio of 30 wind turbines across the UK and with our team being HV qualified there are no restrictions to the electrical maintenance and servicing we provide.

Service Pillars

CleanEarth’s O&M programme is built around 5 key service pillars with clear and measurable commitments to service levels which are provided in compliance with International Quality and Health & Safety standards. Click on each below for details on each:

  • Remote Performance Monitoring

    CleanEarth’s team of analysts monitor and record performance of your system which enables us to identify faults immediately or even before they occur. Data is obtained using the installed remote monitoring system which is communicated via the internet and highlights issues which need to be addressed.

  • Helpdesk

    The Operation and Maintenance team can be contacted by telephone or email Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. All queries will be responded to as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after receipt. An Emergency Hotline number is provided for Out of Hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

  • Emergency Response & Corrective Mainenance

    CleanEarth operate a 24 HOUR hotline for emergencies: 01208 510011

    For non-emergencies when a fault alarm is received by our O&M team, CleanEarth will attempt to diagnose and resolve the problem using remote diagnostics.

    Where CleanEarth determine a site visit is necessary in response to a fault alarm or a performance issue identified by our remote system monitoring, the following response times will apply:

    Critical:            Response Time:             one working day

    Non Critical:     Response Time:             3 working days

    Our O&M clients benefit from preferential call-out rates.

  • Annual Maintenance Inspection

    CleanEarth will conduct an annual maintenance inspection of the installation using the latest thermal imaging technology to monitor its condition, provide preventative maintenance and complete any necessary repairs. A full list can be provided but in summary, we inspect:

    Solar array

    1. Visual check of a selection of panels using Infa-Red camera technology and the mounting framework
    2. Electrical testing of a selection of strings and visual checks of cable runs and cable containment

    Inverters

    Check status and operation of inverters and verify inverter position and mounting is still in line with manufacturers recommendations

    AC cabinets and auxiliary equipment

    Visual verification of the connections, lines circuit breakers, AC fuses and check status and operation of generation meters

    Monitoring and communications devices

    Check the operation of monitoring and communications equipment.

  • Clear & Regular Reporting

    Clients receive quarterly ‘Health Check’ reports highlighting work completed during any inspections or remedial visits during the period, with photographic evidence.

    Our Annual Maintenance Inspection report is provided within 10 working days of the annual inspection and also includes a performance summary covering generation levels against original forecasts and year-on-year. The system’s performance data can be displayed either internally on business performance dashboards or publicly on a public display monitor or client webs
