CleanEarth is completing a solar install at the St. Moritz hotel in North Cornwall. Located in Trebetherick, this luxury hotel sits above the Camel estuary, in close proximity to popular locations such as Daymer Bay, Padstow and Rock.
St. Moritz offers self-catering apartments and villas alongside their modern hotel rooms, as well as the relaxing Cowshed Spa.
CleanEarth have installed a 58.5kw capacity PV system, encompassing the roof of the reception building, and the two accommodation blocks.
We understand the pressures and constraints involved in managing a luxury hotel – and the potential impacts that construction projects can have on guests and staff.
The system was therefore installed in 4 days, with any disruption kept at an absolute minimum, especially in the build up to the Easter Holidays. We appreciate the cooperation of everyone at St. Moritz and the hard work of our staff here at CleanEarth, in meeting and adhering to the planned timeframes.
The electricity generated by the Solar PV installation will be consumed on-site which reduces the hotel’s running costs and delivers significant carbon savings.
