Penans Farm, Cornwall
Installation Type: Two Wind Turbines
Installation Size: 8.6 MW
CleanEarth are proposing to develop two wind turbines, with a tip height of up to 135m, on land at Penans Farm in Cornwall.
The proposal has an estimated annual energy yield of 22 GWh; the equivalent of powering 4,600 Cornish homes. It will save in excess of 5,000 tonnes of carbon annually with a predicted lifetime saving of 180,000 tonnes – making a significant contribution to Cornwall’s target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2030.
