Tacher, Highlands of Scotland
Installation Type: Two Wind Turbines
Installation Size: 8.6 MW
CleanEarth are proposing to develop two 4.3 MW turbines on land at Tacher, Latheron, Caithness.
The two wind turbines are expected to produce over 28,000,000 kWh annually, which is enough electricity to power over 5,600 homes in this part of the Highlands*. It has been designed to appear as part of the established Bad A Cheo and Halsary wind farms in order to minimise any additional impact.
CleanEarth always seek to engage with the local community prior to any planning submission and as such, we would like to formally invite the public to attend a consultation event on Tuesday 24th September between 4pm and 7pm at Mackays Hotel in Wick.
