In response to the declaration of a ‘Climate Emergency’ by Cornwall Council on 22nd January 2019, CleanEarth have formally proposed a single wind turbine, up to 135m to tip, on land at Higher Biscovillack Farm, Cornwall in the China Clay area.

The proposed wind turbine will generate approximately 11.2GWh of renewable energy annually – equivalent to powering over 2,400 Cornish homes.

A public consultation will be held on Wednesday 26th November, between 3pm-7pm in the Atrium at the Wheal Martyn Museum, Carthew, S Austell, PL26 8XG. This is an open event with no appointment required, however registering your interest prior to the event is encouraged via phone or email using the details below.

Further details of the proposal will be available to discuss during the consultation and the full suite of reports will be made available on the CleanEarth website, where comments can be submitted up to 21 days following the public consultation.
