At CleanEarth we work on renewable energy projects right across the UK. But being based in Wadebridge means we have a soft spot for the county of Cornwall.
Over the years we’ve completed solar projects here that range from 20 kW domestic rooftops to 2.5 MW solar farms. More recently we’ve been focused on helping Cornwall’s businesses reduce their energy costs and carbon emissions by investing in solar generation.
In Penryn we’ve installed solar PV systems for three businesses that are near neighbours: Kernow Coatings, Allen & Heath and Verdant Brewing Company. Between them they have close to half a megawatt of generating capacity.
Not far away in Redruth we’ve completed installations for four different companies: Feritech, OMC, DM Orthotics and Keltek Brewery. At 237 kW the Feritech system is the largest of the four and covers almost the entire roof of their purpose-built Innovation Centre.
We’ve also recently finished projects for Rigibore in Hayle, and Camel Glass in our home town of Wadebridge. And we continue to work closely with international minerals company Imerys, on both solar and wind developments in the St Austell area.
Our teams have travelled as far north as Glenrothes in Fife to deliver solar projects for UK businesses, but there are definite advantages to ‘working from home’. And we’re proud that our continuing track record maintains our status as Cornwall’s leading renewable energy company.
