Reliable monitoring of your investment
Our biggest priority is to ensure that your wind asset is always producing at optimum performance. That is why we have monitoring procedures in place so that we can take rapid action when faults or incidents occur. With our regular daily checks, we detect abnormalities in performance and raise enquiries accordingly with the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) providers. When work is underway on site, we ensure that O&M providers are working properly and effectively at all times.
Within asset management, we offer:
- Proactively liaising with providers for maintenance and repair scheduling
- Annual and semi-annual site visits, checks and visual inspections
- Data analysis into performance and fault diagnosis
- Providing full technical reports of activities and works on-site
- Providing full technical reports into performance, availability and downtimes
- Settling warranty claims and insurance cases
- Compiling company reports covering accounts, claims, and more, as well as processing ROC & FIT, invoicing and budgeting
Reporting and annual checks for onshore wind
We regularly collate full analyses across our clients assets, including all relevant occurrences that could result in downtime. This ensures that your wind assets are performing and maintained at their maximum potential. When required, we can tailor reports to your needs to make sure you’re getting the information you need from our analyses.
Our team also visits our wind sites on a regular basis, reviewing your asset for any potential problems; we review everything from access roads to production analysis.
Operations & Maintenance for solar PV
Monitoring your solar panels
Our Operations and Maintenance team check systems daily for any abnormal production – we even check back on the previous day to be certain everything is continually performing as it should be.
We log any errors and provide a technical diagnosis, utilising our familiarity of all our client’s sites combined with a high level of experience. Should anything look abnormal, we will contact the client directly and determine the appropriate course of action, be it a system restart, software update, or replacement of faulty components.
Annual check-ups
- Yearly on-site checkups
- Utilising drone surveys to check panel condition
- Thorough electrical inspection and testing of the installation, in line with BS EN 62446
- Annual performance analysis reports
We take the time to get to know each installation – building a full understanding of each investment’s specific characteristics. Our priority is to provide the best long-term care for your investments, making sure your system is operating at peak capacity.
Fast responses
Unforeseen issues with solar PV can be costly, and our dedicated team always aim to solve problems as soon as they occur. When it can’t be solved remotely, we send out our own highly trained engineers to site to investigate and resolve the issue.
Solar PV fault and repairs
“CleanEarth have monitored our system since the installation and contacted us when we accidentally turned it off – as well as quickly responding to an upgrade when we connected the system to our fire alarm, which shuts it down automatically if the alarm is triggered.”
Edward Buston, Director, Clifton Coffee Roasters
A preventative approach to abnormalities
We keep a preventative approach, with the flexibility to stay reactive when faults appear. As system faults occur over time with pests, natural damage, and environmental changes, it’s imperative to identify the cause and the solution as soon as possible. We check your portal at the start of each day, but when calls or alerts come in, we move quickly to ascertain the issue and see it resolved.
In-house expertise you can trust
Our O&M team can call upon our in-house qualified engineers to provide support and repair issues that may occur on site. We are confident in the quality of the installation of our solar systems, and therefore offer complimentary O&M typically for a year after the commissioning date.
