North Court Farm, Monmouthshire
Installation Type: Single Wind Turbine
Installation Size: 3.6 MW
CleanEarth are proposing to develop a single wind turbine, with a tip height of up to 150m, on land at North Court Farm, Redwick, Caldicot, Monmouthshire.
The proposed site falls within the Magor with Undy community council and will provide a community benefit fund for the local community.
The proposal has an estimated annual energy yield of 8.0 GWh; the equivalent of powering 2,400 homes in Monmouthshire. The project will save in excess of 1,700 tonnes of carbon annually with a predicted lifetime saving of almost 59,500 tonnes – making a significant contribution to Wales’s target of 70% of energy consumption being delivered through renewable sources by 2030.
A virtual public consultation event was held on Thursday 9th March 2023, with a feedback questionnaire available here for 28 days following. Any additional comment or enquiries can now be sent to northcourt.project@cleanearthenergy.com or via the form below.
